At Nishi-Azabu Clinic, our self-pay services (self-pay; not covered by Japanese public insurance) are designed to protect your current health and reduce future disease risk, leveraging our expertise in Diabetes & Endocrinology.

Appointments & Staffing: • Except for IV therapy/placental extract, private services are by appointment only.

Menu: • Obesity Clinic (Zepbound® / Mounjaro® program) Safe, medical weight management by an endocrinology/diabetes specialist for eligible adults.
• Diabetes Checkup (CGM Dock) Uses Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), OGTT, and sleep apnea screening (SAS) to make diet, activity, and sleep “visible” and prevent complications.
• IV Beauty Therapy / Placental Injections Physician-selected options used regularly by our staff for fatigue and skin condition. (May be paused depending on supply.)

Obesity Clinic (Zepbound® / Mounjaro® Program)

Eligibility (basic) Adults who meet medical criteria for obesity and have insufficient response to diet/exercise. Final suitability is determined after evaluation.

Initial Evaluation: • Blood tests, medical history, medication review, goal setting, lifestyle review, vitals, and body measurements
Core Treatment: ・Zepbound® 2.5 mg (4 pens / approx. 1 month): ¥23,800
・Zepbound® 5 mg (4 pens / approx. 1 month): ¥44,800

The dose is determined and adjusted by the physician based on your clinical condition, treatment response, and tolerability. Higher doses are not suitable for everyone.
A monthly visit is generally required for follow-up and side-effect monitoring. Blood tests are generally performed every 3 months for safety monitoring.
Main risks/side effects: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea/constipation, reduced appetite, fatigue, dehydration, gallstones/cholecystitis, pancreatitis, hypoglycemia (with diabetes meds), etc.
Contraindications/precautions: Personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)/MEN2, pregnancy or breastfeeding, serious GI disease, etc.

Optional Add-ons (after first visit): • Labs (HbA1c, lipids, liver/biliary/pancreas/renal function, uric acid, electrolytes, etc.): ¥6,600

Diabetes Checkup (CGM Dock)

Purpose Visualize glucose to prevent complications, avoid diabetes onset, and improve performance.

Components (CGM Dock Lite): 1. Initial evaluation
history/meds review; blood tests (e.g., HbA1c, serum C-peptide, anti-GAD Ab, lipids, liver/renal function, urine albumin)

2. CGM fitting (e.g., FreeStyle Libre 2) for 14 days

3. Analysis TIR, post-meal hyperglycemia, nocturnal hypoglycemia, variability metrics

4. Results consultation

IV Beauty Therapy / Placenta

Purpose: Short sessions to ease fatigue and support skin condition as a sustainable maintenance option.

Standard Fees (incl. tax): • Placental extract (human placental product): ¥1,200 / 1 amp (up to 2 amps)
• Whitening injection: ¥3,300
• Skin antioxidant injection: ¥4,400
• “Garlic” recovery injection (fatigue): ¥3,300
Additional fees: first visit ¥1,500, follow-up ¥0
Time required: 5–30 minutes

If supply is unstable, we will propose alternatives. Depending on history, blood tests may be needed before administration (e.g., G6PD). Pregnancy/breastfeeding or serious underlying illness may be ineligible.

Q. Can anyone use Zepbound®/Mounjaro®?: A. Only those who meet medical indications and safety criteria. We determine suitability at the initial evaluation.

Q. Are injections/placenta always available?: A. Supply can be unstable. New bookings or quantities may be limited depending on stock.
